2. Preparation of raw materials

The raw material of galvanized coil is cold-rolled steel plate, which is usually cold-rolled by the hot-rolled steel plate through the rolling mill, and the thickness is generally 0.5-2.0mm. Before production, raw materials need to be processed and prepared, such as testing, oil removal, rust removal and other processing of raw materials to ensure that the quality of the galvanized coil made is qualified.

3, surface treatment

After the preparation of raw materials, the surface of the steel plate needs to be treated. The purpose of surface treatment is to remove impurities such as surface oxide, rust layer and oil, so that the surface of the steel plate is clean and smooth, and it is convenient for subsequent galvanizing treatment and processing. Surface treatment methods mainly include pickling, mechanical polishing and sandblasting, among which pickling is one of the most commonly used surface treatment methods.

4, galvanized treatment

After the surface treatment is completed, the steel plate needs to be galvanized. There are two main methods of galvanizing treatment: hot dip galvanizing and electric galvanizing. Hot dip galvanizing is to dip steel plates into molten zinc for galvanizing treatment, generally suitable for steel plates with large thickness; Electrogalvanizing is the use of electrolytic principle, plating a layer of zinc on the surface of the steel plate, generally suitable for thin steel plate.

5, cold rolling and cutting

After the galvanized treatment, the steel plate needs to be cold rolled to make the thickness of the steel plate more uniform and the surface more smooth. After cold rolling, the steel plate also needs to be cut to make it conform to the desired size and shape. There are many ways of cutting, such as cutting, cutting machine cutting, laser cutting and so on.
